Hull City midfielder George Boateng insists there's no reason to panic over their lack of summer signings.
"It is like a house, unless you have the foundations you cannot build anything," said Boateng. "We have the foundations at Hull City with the players that are here. We are good enough.
"We want to improve the squad but we're not frustrated as a team. We know that people are working very hard to bring the right players in.
"There's no point in bringing someone in who is not going to improve us, it is not money well spent. It would be nice to have players here now but the foundation is already here.
"Myself, Michael Turner, Dean Marney, Nick Barmby and others, we are here and ready to help new players when they come in.
"But I'm sure given time, the manager will get the right players into the club."
