Hull on way to Ireland for Galway Utd friendly

Hull City are headed to Ireland.

The Hull Daily Mail says with no Premier League fixture next weekend, the Tigers will head to the Republic to play Galway United at Terryland Park on Friday, February 26 (kick-off 7.45pm).

City were originally set to play Aston Villa at the KC Stadium, but that clash has now been postponed because of the Carling Cup final.

But with a crunch schedule of games coming up, manager Phil Brown wants to keep his players' fitness levels up.

The game is expected to be part if a training camp in Ireland, giving internationals Stephen Hunt, Kevin Kilbane and Paul McShane a chance to play for City in their homeland.
