Hull City are set to sign Liverpool midfielder Herbie Kane.
The Liverpool Echo says the 21-year-old has been linked with several clubs willing to offer him regular first-team experience but it seems the Tigers could be in poll position to complete a deal.
That's according to Peterborough United Owner Darragh MacAnthony who said he would "bet a grand" on him joining the Championship side in January.
Kane spent last season on loan at Doncaster Rovers under current Hull City manager Grant McCann and was linked with a move to the Tigers in the summer.
Accrington Stanley have claimed they had been told the midfielder was heading to East Yorkshire when they had made enquiries about his availability.
