Hull City are chasing West Brom defender James Chester.
The Mail on Sunday says Tigers boss Steve Bruce could revive his interest in Chester, 12 months after selling him to West Brom for £8million.
Hull need defensive cover amid fears that Moses Odubajo dislocated his knee cap in the goalless draw at Grimsby on Friday night – an injury that would keep him out until the early months of 2017.
Towering centre-back Lamine Sane is also a target but Hull are yet to agree a fee with French club Bordeaux.
