Hull latest club to be linked with Bristol City ace Kodjia

Hull City have joined the race to secure the services of Bristol City attacker Jonathan Kodjia, according to reports from the Daily Mirror.

Kodjia was one of the stars of the Championship last season, scoring an impressive 19 goals for Bristol City and his contribution proved to be crucial in helping the Robins avoid relegation from England's second tier.

As a result, a host of clubs have expressed their interest in signing Kodjia this summer and Aston Villa were recently linked with a £14million move for the 27-year-old.

Now according to reports emerging out of England, promoted Premier League side Hull are keen on Kodjia and the Tigers are looking to recruit the Ivorian as the future of star man Abel Hernandez at the KCOM Stadium is currently in doubt.

Kodjia was left out of Bristol's 3-1 win over over Villa on the weekend with manager Lee Johnson admitting his mental state due to the speculation was not conducive to performing at his best for his club.
