Hull City have moved for released Manchester City midfielder Didi Hamann.

The Daily Mail says Hamann is considering an offer to join Hull City.

The club are willing to offer the German a one year contract on about £20,000 a week and will hold talks next week.

Hamann, 35, is available on a free transfer after being released by Manchester City. The former Liverpool and Newcastle midfielder, who has been troubled by gambling debts, has been taking his coaching badges in England.

He has also had offers from Germany but would prefer to stay in this country.
