Hull experience has made me a better player - Arsenal young gun Akpom

Arsenal young gun Chuba Akpom claims that a loan spell with Hull City last season has made him a better player.

The 20-year-old striker was the Gunners' top scorer during the pre-season but has failed to make an appearance for the senior squad in the 2016/17 as of yet.

However, he is expected to start in the upcoming EFL (League) Cup clash with Nottingham Forest and plans to use the experience gained with Hull last season, and with Forest, Coventry City snd Brentford before that in order to put his best foot forward in the first team.

"I think that obviously reserve football and first team football is a big difference," Akpom told arsenal.com.

"The Championship is tough, playing games week in week out and experiencing it is a good experience.

"I think that any player, if you go out on loan and get as many games as possible you're going to come back experienced and I think I have."
