Hull City have continued their good form in the top flight by defeating Premier League rivals Newcastle United 1-0 in the third round of the FA Cup.
Despite missing up to eight first team regulars, the Tigers did enough to overcome Newcastle in an at times fiery clash that saw both managers sent to the stands.
Magpies star Michael Owen had a night he'd rather forget, missing three golden opportunities to open the scoring but failed on every occasion.
At the other end, Hull's Daniel Cousin was able to turn home a cross from Richard Garcia in the 81st minute to edge out Joe Kinnear's men whilst Phil Brown will now prepare his tenacious Tigers for a home fixture against Milwall in the fourth round.
