Hull defender Maguire believes Tigers didn't crumble against Sunderland

Hull City defender Harry Maguire insists that the Tigers didn't crumble in their crucial league game against Sunderland on Saturday.

The Tigers suffered an unexpected 2-0 home defeat to the already-relegated side while Swansea defeated Everton 1-0 at home. Following the results on the weekend, the Tigers once again find themselves in the relegation zone.

Maguire said: "You are tensing going into any Premier League game. Every player is tense, but as a professional you should handle it.

"We didn't crumble, we had chances but didn't score at the right times. In previous games when we had chances we have scored, especially at home.

"Swansea going to Sunderland next week isn't as easy as people think. They are a strong side and it is a strong league. This was a game we needed to win, we don't deny that, we didn't, so next week we hopefully we can."
