Hull City defender Ben Clappison is on his way to Histon.

Boss Brian Page hopes to have defender Ben Clappison signed for Histon's Skrill North home game with Leamington today.

"I spoke to Ben and he was really keen on getting out and playing some first-team football," Page told the Cambridge News.

"We've been working hard on trying to get someone in because we are a little bit short in the centre-half department. Ben comes very highly-rated.

"We're going to have a good side and it will be nice to know we've got a good pairing at centre-half."
