Hull City have decided not to go ahead with a contract for winger Jerome Thomas.

The former Charlton and Portsmouth man has been trialling with the Tigers but Phil Brown has decided against offering him a permanent contract.

"Jerome trained with us and we thanked him for his efforts," Brown told the club's official website.

"But we didn't feel that Jerome was going to improve what we've already got."
