Hull City vice-chairman Ehab Allam has paid tribute to manager Steve Bruce.
Allam knows Bruce is central to the club's ambitions and has praised the work ethic instilled by the boss.
"We are doing so much better than we had ever hoped for," he told the Hull Daily Mail.
"We could not have done it without Steve, but I think we have worked well as a team together.
"We have always given him our full backing, as we showed in the January transfer window, and that decision has paid off for us so far.
"His passion and vision to be successful came across on the first day we met him and it still shows in every one of our performances.
"The players play for him because they trust him."
