Hull boss Bruce: Southampton clash biggest of season

Hull City boss Steve Bruce rates tonight's game with Southampton the biggest of the season.

Victory would put Hull on 30 points and Bruce reckons 38 will be enough to stay up.

Bruce said: "It's a big one, arguably the biggest game we've had.

"If we could go back to back winning and get up to 30 points, then we're probably a couple of wins away from being safe. It would be a big step.

"There would still be work to do because it's such a difficult league for a newly promoted team, but when I look at us and the way we hold ourselves, I'm delighted with where we are.

"We need two or three more results and if we get them, the quicker we get to that magical mark.

"It's a big game, arguably as big as game as we've had here for a long time because if we can win it we're probably two games away from staying in the division which would be a terrific achievement."
