Hull City boss Steve Bruce is ready abuse from Sunderland fans.

Former Black Cats manager Bruce is braced for plenty of stick but hopes it will take the heat off his players.

He said: "If it's all geared at me, fantastic. Bring it on. If all the focus is on me, the players can just go out and do their jobs.

"The players are the most important thing for me. They've got to handle the occasion and the atmosphere.

"I really can't wait for it. I'm certainly used to getting stick, I've had it all my life. It's not going to change now."
