Hull City boss Phil Brown has thrown down the gauntlet to his existing strikers.
"I'm happy to bring three, or possibly even four strikers into the frame," Brown told the Hull Daily Mail.
"If you look at the strikers we had last season, Marlon King got five goals, Daniel Cousin got five, Craig Fagan got two, Caleb Folan one, so it wouldn't bode well for this season if we stuck with the same strike-force.
"It doesn't take a rocket scientist to suggest that yes, one or two might be moving on and yes, one or two will stay and join the new band of strikers.
"It will be up for everyone to get on with it in pre-season and see where that takes us."
