Hull City boss Phil Brown admits he uses the late Brian Clough as his role-model.
"Brian Clough's autobiography is my Bible," he said. "Like him I've managed Derby County and we are both north-east lads.
"And we've both got in common Hartlepool United. There are a lot of things I can draw from his career.
"If people say I have to change my ways, that there is no place for truth in the game, then dear me, we are in a sad state.
"My pride is intact after the Arsenal game. I've no intention of changing. Transparency in any football club is key.
"Players don't need me trying to be clever. They want to see simple, effective football and simple, effective coaching."
