Hull City boss Nigel Adkins is delighted with the form of on-loan Liverpool midfielder Harry Wilson.

Adkins has left the door open for him to return next season.

“We're delighted with what he's doing," Adkins said. “It's great that we have given him a platform and an opportunity and from what I can make out he's really enjoying it.

“He's doing well, he's back in the international set up and he will go back to Liverpool for the start of pre-season.

"All the young players will end up going back to their clubs because of the World Cup. The clubs will have commitments all around the World for their pre-season tours so they'll keep all of their players with them and then, when all the players come back from the World Cup, then they'll decide what young players go out on loan, so it will be last minute."
