Hull City are chasing Sheffield United defender Matt Kilgallon.
The Daily Star says Tigers boss Phil Brown is willing to cough up £1 million for Kilgallon, who is inside the final 12 months of his current deal.
Bolton Wanderers and Newcastle United are also battling for Kilgallon's signature.
