Chris Hughton is refusing to set a survival target for his Norwich team as they hover just above the relegation zone. "Our form has been up and down and we haven't had the consistency that we would have liked this season," he said.
"But we are in and around a group of teams in a similar position to ourselves and it's been shown in recent weeks what a win can do... and obviously what a defeat can do.
"The fact we are in a position like lots of other teams, we have to look after our own business and get the results we need to make life a little bit more comfortable for ourselves."
Asked how many points Norwich will require to avoid the drop this season, Hughton said: "To be honest, I just don't know.
"And I don't want to be putting a figure on it. I just want to make sure we give ourselves every chance to get as many points as we can from every game we have to play.
"Whatever it takes, it will take, but we just want to concentrate on getting the results we need."
