Chris Hughton has admitted that being without Florin Andone leaves him without options in attack.
The Brighton boss is lamenting the fact that Andone will not be there for the FA Cup fifth round game against Derby County.
Andone has a three match ban for an elbow on Sam Field against West Brom in their previous FA Cup game.
It is unclear if attacker Glenn Murray will play the FA Cup game, even though his boss wants to give him a rest.
Hughton told The Argus: "It is a concern and a big disappointment. If I'm looking where we are at the moment, we have used (Jurgen) Locadia more so on the left hand side in a 4-3-3.
"Locadia can play number nine – but probably in the way we are playing it leaves us light up front. So yes, it's a disappointment and a blow."
