Hughes: Nothing forthcoming for Inverness ace McKay

Inverness manager John Hughes insists there have been no offers for striker Billy McKay.

The 25-year old sits on top of the Scottish Premier League scoring charts with 14, prompting interest from some clubs in England, but Hughes says Caley are yet to receive anything official for the Northern Ireland international.

"The interest in Billy is because he is scoring goals and that's the way we want it to continue. It's good for our club and the ball is in our court," he told Sky Sports News.

"He is a real talent and he is contracted to the club for a number of years. I don't want to add to any speculation but at the moment no-one has come in for him.

"Billy is such a level headed, humble kid who enjoys his football and hopefully this will not affect him. Hopefully he will score many more goals from now until the end of the season."
