Southampton manager Mark Hughes knows the upcoming clash against Watford is vital for his Saints side.

The past 11 games have seen Southampton win only ONE time in the Premier League.

They are only two points and three places away from the drop zone.

And Hughes knows that if he is to keep his job and save the team's season, they must start winning now.

"It becomes huge. We know ourselves the areas which we weren't strong enough [against Manchester City]," Hughes told the Southampton website.

"We will work towards the weekend and make sure the elements of our play that were missing are present against Watford."
