Huddesfield goalkeeper Jonas Lossl turns on teammates after Newcastle defeat

Huddesfield Town goalkeeper Jonas Lossl was upset with his teammates after their 2-0 defeat at Newcastle.

Lossl explained why the Terriers didn't deserve any points from St. James' Park.

“It's hard right now. I'm very disappointed and angry; there's a lot of emotions.

“A couple of things went wrong, but bottom line we didn't perform well enough to get points from here.

“The red card changed the game, but we should've handled it better. We let them have to many chances. We tried to change it at half-time, but we didn't.

“We made some tactically changes to defend against them better, especially in the width. We tried to but that's why they scored."

Lossl has called for the players to take a long, hard look at themselves following the defeat before preparing for Tuesday night's game against Wolves.

“The goals sucked the energy out the game for us. Right now, we need to look at ourselves in the mirror and say, 'why is that'.

“If we want to believe in it and do it, then we need to keep believing and not get brought down."
