Huddersfield midfielder Juninho Bacuna: Fans deserve big Spurs performance

Huddersfield Town midfielder Juninho Bacuna says they want to offer their fans a big performance against Tottenham today.

The 21-year-old midfielder has become a fans' favourite over the last couple of months after showing good passion and aggression on the pitch.

He told HTTV: “For me the fans are most important for the Club. They can bring a lot of energy to the players and that's what this team needs – a lot of energy.

“When the fans start cheering and stuff, you see one or two extra percent in the players and that's what we need in the last few games."

The aim for the final matches of the season for Juninho Bacuna is simple.

“Show your best, show what you can do, enjoy the fans, play for the Club. There's still five games left in the Premier League and you have to give everything for them."

He added: “I am personally looking forward to this game because Tottenham is one of the biggest clubs in England and it's a dream to play against the big clubs.

“They've got a new Stadium, so we will be playing there for the first time; it's exciting."
