Danny Williams is in talks with Huddersfield Town.
The former Reading midfielder is a free agent after his contract ended with the Royals.
The USA international made 135 appearances for Reading, the last of which coming in the club's Championship playoff final loss to Huddersfield.
The 28-year old is now on the verge of joining the Terriers, who have kick started their summer with the signings of Steve Mounie, Aaron Mooy and Laurent Depoitre.
