Huddersfield Town are in advanced talks with FC Groningen for Juninho Bacuna.

The Dutch midfielder, 20, is now on the brink of seeing the two clubs agreeing a fee for his transfer, says Voetbal International.

Groningen chief Hans Nijland confirmed to RTV Noord: "It has to be on paper first, but he has a one-year contract, so that has to be bought off.

"It is certainly a nice club and he has a desire to make such a move.

"He is a child of our club, we should be proud of him, it is also a compliment to the training of FC Groningen."
