Huddersfield Town defender Michael Hefele is a target for Aston Villa.

The Sun says Villa are eyeing a move for Hefele as they look to find a replacement for ex-skipper John Terry.

The former England international left Villa at the end of the season after the Midlands side failed in their bid to win promotion back to the Premier League.

Hefele is an option.

The German has just one year left on his deal at Huddersfield and will be available for a low transfer fee.
