Huddersfield defender Kongolo: Free week with Siewert has been positive

Huddersfield Town defender Terence Kongolo says the week off has helped the players adjust to manager Jan Siewert's methods.

The Terriers meet with Newcastle this weekend.

Kongolo said, "I think the new Head Coach came with the new plans, new ideas on how we have to play.

“So, we took the time, and we think it went well. Everyone knows now what they have to do.

“Jan, he's straight and honest with us. I think he has good plans, and everyone trusts him. We'll see what the next few games bring us.

“Everyone gave everything in that game (vs Arsenal). In the second half, the team was stronger.

“We have to learn from the mistakes but keep the positivity of the game and take that into the Newcastle match."
