Huddersfield boss Wagner satisfied with Cardiff stalemate

Huddersfield Town and Cardiff City played out a 0-0 draw on Saturday.

Jonathan Hogg was sent off following an ugly collision with Harry Arter as Huddersfield and Cardiff ground out a goalless draw that did little to advertise their Premier League pedigree.

Terriers boss David Wagner said afterwards: "We have seen a typical hard-fought Premier League game. We controlled the game and gave more or less nothing away, we created opportunities in the wings without an end-product in the box.

“With a man sent-off, it is a good point. If it was 11 v 11, we would have been disappointed. It's always good to get points on the board in the Premier League. We take this point and go forward.

"We are far away from our peak. There is a lot of space to improve. We were always able to build counters from our good positions when we lost the ball. We had to be patient, and we were. We had to keep the tempo up in the last 30 minutes, but everybody saw why; it was difficult a man light."
