Huddersfield boss Jan Siewert has dumped Jason Puncheon after a furious bust-up.
Puncheon is on loan from Crystal Palace for the rest of the campaign but has been told to stay away from Huddersfield's Canalside training base and is not expected to play for the club again this season, says the Daily Mail.
Siewert shuffled his side, replacing Puncheon with full back Florent Hadergjonaj, but the 32-year-old did not take the decision well.
It is understood angry words were exchanged between the pair, and the German then excluded Puncheon from the squad to face Wolves on Tuesday night.
Victory in that game was Huddersfield's first under Siewert after six defeats. It moved them to 14 points, 13 from safety.
