Huddersfield Town boss Jan Siewert has welcomed new signing Karlan Grant from Charlton Athletic.

Grant has made an immediate impression in training since his arrival on a permanent deal from Charlton this week.

Grant scored 14 goals for the Addicks this season and is set to go straight into the squad to face Maurizio Sarri's men.

Siewert said: "In Karlan I see something that is very special and I am convinced he can help us.

"I think he showed in League One that he is able to score consistently and this is important for me. He was already scoring goals in training yesterday, which makes me really proud."
