Huddersfield boss Jan Siewert: I'm totally angry

Huddersfield boss Jan Siewert was left frustrated after their 1-0 defeat to Brighton.

Brighton striker Florin Andone scored the only goal after 79 minutes of a nervy encounter.

Siewert said: "I'm totally angry.

“We lost the game because of a free-kick. We had some chances and we defended well. After such a massive game against Wolves, we definitely should have got something out of today."

The encounter was firmly in the balance until Andone snuck in to finish 10 minutes from time, although the task wasn't made easier for the Terriers due to a duo of forced alterations.

"We had to do early substitutions; Jonathan Hogg couldn't breathe and Jon Gorenc Stankovic had a muscle problem. We knew this because it was just his second game of the Premier League season.

"We had many possibilities, especially on the counter, but we didn't finish those counters. We were over-threatened with counters, and we defended really well. Lössl made some good saves. We have to learn that just one situation in the Premier League changes games."
