Huddersfield Town attacker Elias Kachunga admits their run of defeats is hard to take.

Kachuga was speaking after their 4-0 thrashing by Tottenham.

He said, “It's not easy for anyone. This season has been heavy for the mind, the body, everything.

“I can say that everyone tried to give their best on the pitch. You could see on the pitch we tried to fight for each other and the supporters to show a good game.

“The game today was not good enough for us to take something. Tottenham is a really good team but it's a hard defeat to take."

The match was Elias Kachunga's first start since AFC Bournemouth at home at the beginning of March.

The attacking midfielder explained how hard he's been working to get back into the starting XI.

“I work really hard to get in the team, to help this team and to stay on the pitch. Today, as well, I tried everything that was possible for me. I worked really hard as a winger and defended deep.

“Hopefully the next games are better for us and we can create more chances."
