Hreidarsson insists Portsmouth players will give their all

Hermann Hreidarsson says Portsmouth players won't go into meltdown as the club prepares to enter administration.

The News says Pompey players had to learn from the media of Balram Chainrai's plans to move the club into administration.

Hreidarsson has vowed the players will still be concentrating on their football.

He said: "It has been on the cards all season, especially lately, but nobody likes to see a club going into administration. It will not be a nice situation if it happens - for the players, the staff and the fans.

"All the players can do is focus on what is happening on the field and hope that someone can be found in the next couple of days.

"Morale has been good despite the uncertainty but things around the club have been far from wonderful."
