Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe is pleased with their progress this season.

Howe is happy with the improvement of the team.

He said, "Overall I think it has to be considered that way. There have been challenges for us, there has been quite a big transition in the team this year due to loads of different factors but injuries have been a key thing of the second half of the campaign.

“It's opened up opportunities for younger players, I think the average age of our squad has come down which I think is a really good thing for the future.

“Maybe that has led to some inconsistencies but it is certainly something we can focus on in the summer for next year."
