Bournemouth manager Eddie How was delighted with his player's fight despite losing 3-0 to Liverpool on Saturday.

The Cherries were defeated courtesy of goals from Sadio Mane, Georginio Wijnaldum and Mohamed Salah.

He told the Daily Echo: "I thought our commitment and mentality was good.

"Sometimes it's very easy to react to a result in a negative way but at 3-0 down in the early stages of the second half, that was a real examination and we never stopped fighting.

"Everyone gave their all and that's all I can ask."
