Houston Dynamo's Kinnear to cast eye over MLS Caribbean Combine

Dom Kinnear will attend the inaugural MLS Caribbean Combine as he seeks some unearthed gems for the Houston Dynamo.

The Dynamo currently have Jamaican trio Jermaine Taylor, Omar Cummings and Jason Johnson on their books and have previously homed the likes of Je-Vaughn Watson and Lovel Palmer.

That success of players from the Caribbean will see Kinnear cast his eye over the regions first MLS get-together which begins in Florida on Thursday.

"I think it's good because you can't be everywhere at once," Kinnear told MLSsoccer.com.

"Sometimes you only see one game on a scouting trip. I think to gather a group of players to give you a chance to see the best players that makes everything so much easier."

Of the four-day combine, Kinnear added: "To have this here, I think MLS is doing some great things.

"I would not be surprised to see other leagues around the world following suit."
