Gerard Houllier arrives at Aston Villa as the club's top earner.
The Mirror says Houllier has agreed a massive contract worth nearly £8million to take charge of Aston Villa.
The former Liverpool manager, 63, was unveiled on Friday as Martin O'Neill's successor at Villa Park on a three-year contract.
He will not be at Stoke tonight as he still has duties with the French Football Federation, where he is technical director.
But Villa's US owner Randy Lerner has lured Houllier back to the Premier League with a bumper deal which will make him the club's highest-paid boss ever.
