Australia international Brett Holman is set to return to the AZ Alkmaar line-up after about a month on the sidelines with a calf injury. Holman played his last match for the Dutch club in their 1-1 league draw with Excelsior on August 29 but will be available when they travel to Belarus for a Europa League clash with BATE Borisov tonight.

Alkmaar managed to get over Moldovan champions Sheriff Tiraspol 2-1 in their opening group stage match and will only be buoyed by the return of Holman who had kicked off the season in fine form following his coming of age with two brilliant goals at the World Cup for the Socceroos.
