Oscar-winning actor Russell Crowe, best known for his role in Gladiator, is considering buying Leeds United. BBC Sport has learned New Zealand-born Crowe would consider purchasing the Championship club if he was approached and had the backing of fans.

Boyhood Leeds fan Crowe has asked his Twitter followers whether it would be a good idea to buy the Yorkshire club.
