Holloway: Rangers' Adam convinced he's joining Birmingham, Wolves

Birmingham City and Wolves are being linked with Rangers midfielder Charlie Adam.

Adam spent last season on loan at Blackpool and the Seasiders were holding out hope of re-signing the Scotland international midfielder.

However, while questioning Adam's commitment to return to Bloomfield Road, boss Ian Holloway let slip that the player seemed convinced that the West Midlands could be the place for him.

Holloway said: "My understanding of what happened at the player of the year presentation was that Charlie did not really answer the question when he was asked about staying at Blackpool.

''He also said he might be going to Birmingham or Wolves."
