Ian Holloway has opened negotiations with Leicester regarding the vacant manager's position at the Walkers Stadium.
The 44 year old, who resigned as Plymouth manager on Wednesday, has been meeting Milan Mandaric with a view to replacing Gary Megson, who quit to become manager of Bolton last month.
A Leicester spokesman confirmed that "[Holloway] has arrived and is holding talks", but refused to elaborate on how the talks were going.
Plymouth are certain to demand compensation given that Holloway had more than 18 months remaining on his contract.
