Chelsea's Dutch youngsters are better served playing for their U23s than in the Eerste Divisie.

That's according to Holland U19 coach Maarten Stekelenburg.

He said, "I think you can compare the level of Chelsea Under-23 with the Erste Division. It is a strong competition.

"I think it is best for players to be in the Netherlands. But you cannot compare one situation with the other. For some players it is good to play in a different environment. So you cannot say in general whether such a step is bad."

Chelsea count on Dutch pair Juan Familia-Castillo and Daishawn Redan with their U23s.
