Holland coach Frank de Boer is drawing inspiration from Ronald Koeman.

De Boer takes over from Koeman, who left to become the new Barcelona boss in August.

"I have many similarities with Ronald and I want to follow his path," De Boer admitted to the press.

"He's done very well in the last two years.

"I think we have a bright future ahead of us.

"Koeman and the [Dutch football] federation started [the job] two years ago.

"We have a good group and a good squad."
