Former Ajax assistant coach Alfred Schreuder is delighted for Hakim Ziyech over his move to Chelsea.
It was confirmed on Thursday that Ziyech would be joining Chelsea at the end of the season for a fee rising to €44m.
And Hoffenheim coach Schreuder enthused: “I never shared that doubt that perhaps existed at the biggest clubs in the world.
"Because already in my FC Twente time, and you can check the statistics on it, Hakim worked hard and covered a lot of kilometers.
"So I have no fear that he could not make it in the Premier League."
Schreuder thinks that Ziyech had the feeling that Chelsea were looking at him very seriously for a long time.
"Otherwise Hakim wouldn't make the move," he concluded.
