Hoffenheim coach Julian Nagelsmann admits he was tempted by Real Madrid's approach earlier this summer.

At just 30, the Hoffenheim coach has said that he did consider moving to Spain but the time wasn't right for him to leave the Bundesliga.

"It's not that I didn't think about the offer," Nagelsmann remarked to magazine 11 Freunde. "Who would hang the phone on Real Madrid?

"There is nothing bigger than Real Madrid.

"I am only 30 years old. If my coaching career evolves reasonably well, I may have another opportunity to take charge of a team in that league.

"In terms of my family, it was not the right time to move abroad."
