There is confidence inside Bayern Munich they won't lose Robert Lewandowski to Barcelona.

Lewandowski's agent Pini Zahavi was in Barcelona last week.

Bayern have played the situation down on several occasions in recent days. The latest to add his voice to this current of opinion has been that of Uli Hoeness, legend of the Bavarian club.

"I 100 percent believe that Robert Lewandowski will play for Bayern next season. He has a contract, it's as simple as that," the honorary president told the BR portal.

Last week it was Bayern coach Julian Nagelsmann who made clear his desire for Lewandowski to stay on.

"I want his contract to be extended. I have said it at least 50 times, of course I would like him to stay, nothing has changed this week. That's my point of view," he said a few days ago.
