Republic of Ireland manager Martin O'Neill has accused Roy Hodgson of putting pressure on Jack Grealish.
The Aston Villa midfielder is eligible to represent both England and Ireland but is yet to pledge his allegiance to either country.
Hodgson said on Saturday that he hopes the 19-year-old chooses to play for England but urged him to make his decision soon which has attracted some ire from Ireland boss O'Neill.
"That's encouraging, that's encouraging," said O'Neill when quizzed about Hodgson's comments.
"Roy's not going to hang around. Well done Roy, putting the pressure on."
