Crystal Palace boss Roy Hodgson says that he had no doubts about Frank Lampard and Steven Gerrard becoming great managers.
The two England legends ventured into coaching in the past couple of years.
Some fans were skeptical about whether they could translate their success as players to management.
But Lampard was a success at Derby County, and is showing promise at Chelsea, while Gerrard is attempting to challenge Celtic with Rangers in Scotland.
Speaking about the pair, Hodgson said in a press conference: "When [Lampard] and Steven Gerrard went into management I had no doubt that they would succeed.
"For me it was a question of whether they would go to a club that would give them a chance to really show they are great management material and are more than capable of doing the job."
