Crystal Palace boss Roy Hodgson and players are urging Wilfried Zaha to stay.
The £80million-rated winger is keen to play Champions League football and wanted by Arsenal, Tottenham, Borussia Dortmund and his former club Manchester United.
Hodgson said: “I have that old-fashioned idea that when you sign a contract, you go back after the season ends and start playing again.
“That's the way I see it. I hope he finds good form in the last two games."
Zaha, 26, was ineffective in the 0-0 draw with Everton and Hodgson admits his star takes too much on himself.
He said: “That pressure comes from him, not us. At times we encourage him to release the ball and run off it more, than run with it."
Captain Luka Milivojevic hopes Zaha goes nowhere.
He said: “If you play for Palace, you want him to stay."
